Unfortunately, the alloy is too smooth, so the flute is not secure in the hand and the low notes are very difficult to play.
Therefore, we have sent the flute back.

We actually only bought this flute as a replacement for our expensive rental model (from the music school) because it is often in need of repair.
We would never have thought that this flute could keep up with the expensive one. The notes all come out clearly and distinctly, the keys are easy to play.
We are absolutely amazed. Even our flute teacher is delighted.
Conclusion: the expensive rental model goes back to the music school and we now only play this flute.

After about 15 years of playing break, the mechanics of my old flute was no longer the hit and I bought the Classic Catabile FL-100 flute to get back the joy of making music. And what can I say? The flute was with me in no time, neatly packaged and to get back in it is flawless. Sounds clean, now it is only: practice, practice, practice :-)

I really have to get rid of this,
I received the Classic Cantabile FL 100 very quickly and carefully packed from Musikaus Kirstein.
The instrument unpacked, the small transport - fuses carefully removed, looked at, so great and precisely made, the nickel alloy ultra-shiny without any scratches, and then.....
the flute briefly blown, I did not want to believe it at first, ......excellent, the low C ' rich and sonorous,
then the high register up to high C ..flawless response, best intonation......and that,.... i had to look again on the order for a price, soooo cheap, ....how is such a thing even possible?
The lateral play of the key shafts hardly noticeable , the padding perfectly tight and almost noiseless when playing.
I don't want to hide the fact that this is not my first transverse flute, I know even very high-priced instruments, and therefore know what's what. (music teacher, orchestra)
Often I have to stand by many parents before their first lesson, with the advice to buy a good and solid flute, and here I would like to recommend the Kirstein Fl 200 transverse flute, because I think it has a silver alloy.
But otherwise identical in construction with the FL 100.

Great flute to start with. Nice sound. The flute itself only turns brown/black on the mouthpiece from the beginning when you start playing it. Also places where your fingers have been. This cannot be polished away.
