Overall, the trombone is set too high. I had to pull out the main tuning slide 2.5cm to get a reasonably coherent F there. In addition, the slide runs a bit sluggish. But for a final judgment it is still too early.

I had already purchased another instrument from Classic Cantabile and trusted the first experience. The trombone did not disappoint expectations! Good finish and well built. Intonate and a pleasure to play. Certainly it is not a professional instrument but, for what it costs, it has nothing to envy to the big brands. Excellent value for money.

Trombone with good intonation, train runs well. Processing at first glance good.
The supplied mouthpiece is playable. With a 6 1/2 AL available with me, the sound is but a lot crisper and more centered.
All in all, for beginners and as a second instrument a useful instrument.

It is already my second instrument of the series. For marching music it does not always have to be a brand instrument.

For this low price you get, I think, no better trombone. It has quite a full and warm sound and responds well in all registers. The workmanship is very clean. The case is made in light construction, but makes a stable impression. I can't say anything about the longevity of the instrument yet, that can only be said after a few months and regular use. My first impression is that this is a solid instrument for beginners as well as for advanced players, which would also have earned the triple price.

The instrument looks good and sits well in the hand. In terms of sound, you certainly can't expect more.
The workmanship of the valves is not so great, so I'm curious how long it will last when cleaning and re-inserting.

need the instrument for a small child who desperately wants to learn trombone but is still too small for a tenor trombone.
So we try the entry with the slide trumpet / soprano trombone.
With about 520 grams, it is nice and light and he comes with oh to the 7.train because it is of course correspondingly short.

Trombones are characterized by the trombone slide, a tone can be varied very much in the height. With the soprano trombone, the exact intonation is even more difficult, but in my opinion leads to a good feeling for the tone. I look forward to the coming time with this extraordinary instrument.
A suggestion for improvement: In the case would still be enough space for more recesses eg for oil / water

The bonsai trombone / slide trumpet was delivered super fast, flawless. The train glides smoothly.have bought the train trumpet just for fun and am honestly thrilled. Now it is only practice until the train positions sit cleanly. Play otherwise trumpet, but have a lot of fun with the part, because it's just something different and because I use my normal trumpet mouthpiece, it is not counterproductive for the approach. For just so a great price / performance ratio.

The Classic cantabile slide trumpet can be played very well and has a great sound. The lightweight case is nice and handy and can also be carried as a backpack. The coated ? The coated inner slide allows the outer slide to move smoothly and the notes lock in well. I would buy again.

Since the music band could not organize a children's trombone, I ordered this instrument.
The trombone teacher has looked at it and was quite positively surprised. The case is easy to carry, straps are included, so the case can be transported on the back or hung around. The trombone itself is well made and not bad at all in terms of handling and sound. Logically, you can not compare the instrument with a Yamaha trombone; however, we are very satisfied with the purchase.

I'm a tenor trombonist, a music professional, but an enlightened amateur when it comes to brass.
I wanted to switch to bass for taste reasons. Ordered trombone new via internet and received it in a few days.
I had ordered another one for comparison, which I immediately returned because it was absolutely not ergonomic C...G.... Brand. (Copy of King 7B)
When I unpack it, I see a flawless unit. All the welds are perfect, as is the paint job.
I only had to grease the tuning pumps and put fine oil in the 2 valves.
The case is convenient and protects the unit well, but nothing more.
After a month of intensive playing, I make the following observations:
The instrument sounds perfect in all registers from E-flat pedal to high D.
The sound is homogeneous, precise and the slide, once oiled, works perfectly.
I tuned the valves with the electronic tuner without any problems (F, Gb and D).
I state that I immediately changed the mouthpiece that came with the instrument, a 51L, which is more for tenor, for a 1 1/2G, which is much more suitable for bass.
On the other hand, this instrument requires a lot of air, especially in the low and infrathin registers, so good breathing technique is required.
The instrument is quite ergonomic and the leg of the Gb valve is adjustable.
On the other hand, the device is quite heavy. I weighed almost 2kg600 with the mouthpiece, but relatively well balanced, better than a Bach I had tried.
However, it seems to me absolutely necessary to use either a hand rest or a ball bracelet, as I do, for playing comfort and to avoid tendonitis.
For now, this trombone fully meets my expectations and if it is indeed a faithful copy of a Japanese instrument that starts with Y and ends with A, for €774 it is anything but inferior!
To see how it will age in time, but I guess that for the price, I did not take big risks!

Although it took more than two weeks to arrive due to a transporter failure, I discovered an incredible instrument that I like very much both in terms of the finish, the sound and the perfect response of the mechanics.
I've played on the biggest French, Japanese, Czech or German brands and frankly, this tuba doesn't demerit! Ease of play and overall quality impression. The sound can be soft or powerful without ever getting brassy. This tuba is only roundness and finesse and I don't regret having acquired it. I opted for a heavy and deep Alliance VFM-LN mouthpiece, which gives it even more personality but which you have to learn to master. Otherwise, the one that comes with the instrument is very well made and versatile. The future will tell me if this tuba resists to time but for the moment I am extremely satisfied with it. Great value for money !

I ordered the instrument on behalf of a choir member, I myself have the same trombone and am still convinced of the sound and response. My first CC- bass trombone has failed after 12 years of service, but it is worth the unbeatable price to get a new trombone after this time than to switch to the high-priced alternatives.

Have the bass trombone now for a few days in use, and must say that I am satisfied so far.
Especially the price-performance ratio is right. The supplied mouthpiece is rather one for tenor trombones, but a bass trombone mouthpiece is relatively easy to get. The processing is so far ok, the train runs after a few times playing and much lubricate also good. The valves go quite well.

We are talking about a bass trombone for 600.- Euro! My first thought: "That can't be anything! Neither from the instrument building point of view, nor from the musical result, nor from the production conditions!" Ordered with curiosity and then:
- the case makes the typical Chinese impression. Nothing of high quality, but neat.
- If you take a closer look at the instrument, you can see that no sheet metal gourmets were at work here. But this instrument is far away from the horseshoe haptics of the first asian cheap instruments.
- the valves run with some noise, but that can still get itself in. Will oil and grease nicely.
- the slide is very light and runs well.
- And you can really play with this thing!
Now I'm still curious about the durability: How long before the paint comes off in the usual places? When do the valves start to bite? How stable is the linkage? etc.f BUT: we are talking about an instrument for 600.- Euro!
What I would still like very much, would be on the part of Kirstein more transparency in the question of the production conditions.

Addition from June 2018:
in my review above I asked some questions, one of which can now be answered. It is about the question of the varnish. The is now after 8 months in the usual places already off. I play the part max. 1/2 hour a day. I don't think that's a great performance, even at almost 600.- Euro acquisition costs. It is not only the first signs of disintegration, but already extensive wear. If I compare it with my tenor trombone, which comes from a German manufacturer: there is still nothing to see after 5 years (!) and I tend to have it in my hands longer. I'm curious how it will continue. Valves and train still run well. Nevertheless, I have now lowered my rating by one star.
Praisefully I like to mention that "kirstein" has immediately offered me to polish the damaged areas kulanzhalber and repaint. I find that super class!

This replica of the Yamaha 613 I have blown in the 1980s is great. Sure there is no such durable varnish at the price, but the response is in all positions just as good as the old Yamaha instruments. There are more expensive instruments from other companies that don't even come close to the BP-60. I now have two of them and play them in a large German opera house. Rarely have I had two instruments that are so good and that sound so much alike.
Highly recommended not only for students and amateurs.

I am very pleased with this bass trombone. I would not have thought that I get such a good and coherent instrument for this price. The slide runs buttery smooth and the two valves also run very well. All in all a SUPER instrument. I can only recommend.
