Customer ratings for Classic Cantabile AL308 Sustain / Drive-Sustain Pedal

I needed for my two Roland guitar amplifiers (Cube 60 and Micro Cube RX) several foot switches to control the functions. The matching foot switches from Boss cost just under four times the price of an AL 308. Since another reviewer here also mentioned that these foot switches are a good alternative, I immediately ordered 5 pieces. And I have not regretted it so far.
Of course, you can see at first glance that hardworking people from Asia have "oriented" themselves very strongly to the great model from Japan. But the buttons work perfectly, are constructed sufficiently stable (metal housing) and also the connecting grooves snap in cleanly (nothing wobbles). And since recently also the complete labeling is missing, they fit visually well on my pedalboard and with labeling tape you can mark them yourself according to the function. Also the "tight" pressure point I can / must confirm. But the button switches even on the first millimeters, which is advantageous in live operation, as I find.
How long the AL 308 holds out in live operation, I will see in the coming months / years ...

switches so far reliably, is stable and sufficiently non-slip by 4 large rubber feet. The only criticism: the polarity switch there is no labeling of the position. But because of the price still 5 points.

I use the switch on the Yamaha keyboard and am very satisfied. The housing is contrary to the description even almost completely made of metal and seems very robust.
The switch is set very tight, but switches absolutely confident and direct.
On laminate flooring, the housing slips quite easily, but that can be stopped very easily with a remnant piece of rubber mat or anti-slip tile.
I will order a second button.

The switches work perfectly and are also relatively robust. You do not always have to pay triple, just because a certain name is printed on it.

Looking for a cheap alternative to the Boss footswitch or footswitch I came across the model AL308 from Classic Cantabile. Important for me was the possibility to switch the polarity.

The housing is made of plastic and for the daily stage use certainly not optimal. But for occasional performances or practicing at home it is sufficient.

Based on other reviews, I was prepared for the somewhat sluggish button and can confirm this for one of the buttons I ordered. Interestingly, this is not the case with the second stylus of the same model. Here, a light tap with the tip of the foot is sufficient.

Conclusion:
The foot switch from Cantabile is a fully functional alternative to the three times as expensive Boss foot switch, if you can live with the different sensitivities of the buttons and no "professional" use is the goal.

I bought this foot switch as a replacement for the lost original part, which is used on an electronic percussion set.
The responsible employee of the company Kirstein has advised me before the purchase very competent and friendly in the selection.
The connection to the instrument was carried out without any problems using the appropriate cables with jack plugs, which are available in electronics stores.
The spring that loads the button is a little stronger than the original.
However, you can get used to this.
Another option would be to install a weaker spring.

Only minus, stiff, not switchable with the tip of the foot, you have to kick pretty.

Have two pushbuttons plugged together over the rail provided for this purpose. Fits perfectly together. The release of the button is a little stiff, but you get used to it. Polarity switch instead of own soldering, so the buttons fit to any keyboard. Recommendation for all who want to buy cheap.
