The support is adjustable in many ways. Due to the flexibility and the secure hold, you can absolutely devote yourself to other things like bow technique and the left hand. However, it took about 2 weeks to get used to and I feel that other muscle groups are used in the upper arm and forearm (left hand). However, I see this as positive, as the energy for holding the violin is eliminated. Also had to try several chin rests, as they are equally responsible for the optimal fit of the violin. The support has revolutionized my technique in terms of speed, left and right. Since the violin is now very well positioned, I can do things that were not possible before. Nevertheless, I still play with my Kun prop from time to time, because certain techniques in swing as well as in blues require a change of the violin position, especially when it comes to percussion. This is not possible with this prop, as it can be adjusted for a precise fit. Of course you can adjust the bowing technique needed, it just takes some time. The best prop I have ever had. More than 5 stars.

A good and flexible shoulder support that bends easily to follow the curvature of the shoulder and back. It provides good support.

Once you have adjusted the shoulder rest correctly, it sits perfectly and does not press. The violin can be held without much effort from the chin. My daughter loves them and the violin teacher finds them also top!
Never again another shoulder support!

One thing in advance: It is difficult to find the perfect position for the shoulder support. You have a lot of options and just have to try a little bit every day....
But, you immediately notice a difference to the conventional supports and the playing feeling changes to the positive. Really great!
I can recommend it to everyone!

I am 69 years and beginner u. go 1.5 years in the music school. The Bonmusika support is the best what I tested
I have tested, the other 3 brands I have put back in the violin spare parts box.
The support holds the violin very well because it is adjustable. Since using the Bonmusika, the fingering exercises are more exact
the violin simply holds better and the left thumb is no longer so tense.
Also would be a song holds the violin super and it sounds quite good. I mean that should test every beginner times

Greetings Fred
a great relief

I am 45 years old and have been learning to play the violin for about 3 years. So far I have used a different shoulder rest and have been regularly plagued with back pain, and the violin was felt never in the right position... my daughter has been playing a bit longer and somehow now when she moved from 3/4 to 4/4 she had trouble holding the violin.... she's gotten taller...
... so I decided to buy the part that seems to be the most versatile for my daughter and she was not happy at all at first. You have to get to grips with the prop, (the instructions help a little, there was a three part lesson on youtube by an English speaking lady "red desert violin" that was very helpful to me).... well i got the prop back from my daughter, she didn't want it anymore, set the "thing" for me, took just under two days. Then was happy and the thing became my shoulder brace I thought. Then my daughter had the grabbed two little things changed and tada gone was the great part.
End of the song, I bought a second and this time it went faster with the setting but quite as perfect as the other she is not yet.

A tip, the holes to adjust are designed so that you can screw the support virtually angled, who looks at the above video will realize what I mean. This is even quite extreme, then you can no longer put on one of the two knurled nut, but you do not need, a screw holds because even without a nut. So you don't necessarily have to make your own holes for such an angle. My daughter and I fit the support so best.

The pain is not gone by the way ... that's probably the age ;-), but the violin holds better in position and I can play much more relaxed with the fingers without the feeling to throw the violin down.
Very good

I am fully satisfied.you need a little time to adjust the support individually.
But if it then sits correctly and the violin is fixed, the right hand is free for
for playing the violin. It's annoying when the violin always slides forward.

I am very pleased with the ergonomic adaptability of the support. The violin posture is much easier. definitely a positive experience. In my next order with you, I would ask to deliver with DHL.
There is a more reliable delivery date faithfulness.

The Bonmusica shoulder rest reliably prevents the violin from slipping forward; it is much better than my previous KUN rest. The order processing could not be better; very fast shipping, one day after ordering.
