Customer ratings for Alto TS408 Stereo Set

I bought two of the TS 408 speakers. I didn't want to lug around such heavy speakers in my old age. I want to use them as a small PA for pub gigs, but also as a monitor speaker for electric drums or my Line6 PodGo for the guitar. As expected, the small speakers are weak in the low frequencies as a PA, but a woofer will be added there soon anyway. But even as it is, it does a pretty good job of sound reinforcement for my small hobby band. As a guitar speaker connected to a Line6 effects unit, it reproduces my guitar playing well. No problem with electric drums either. I use the speakers properly wired, controlled with a mixer, but I have also tried the Bluetooth. Perhaps the pairing process should be explained better. I had problems at first. It didn't say anywhere that a button on the speaker had to be pressed first. Only when the speaker and iPad are connected can the app be used to connect the second speaker in stereo mode.
However, the wattage specifications on the speakers suggest more power than actually comes out. Unfortunately, I have not yet found a logical explanation for this anywhere.
But anyway, I give it four stars. Let's see how they perform in live operation.

Excellent system.

First impression is very positive. I bought the speakers for private parties. They sound very good, but a sub would be necessary for an extremely deep bass, but that's really complaining on a high level. The Bluetooth connection works perfectly, just set it up, plug it in, connect it and it works. The app is practical for connecting and adjusting the volume, but the operation of the equalizer takes some getting used to, I think sliders and simply an additional bass boost would be better, but with a bit of trial and error you can get it right. In short, Bluetooth makes it as practical as a large party speaker, relatively light, sounds good and is cheaper than a large party speaker. You can buy two, have stereo and it's still cheaper than a comparable party speaker in terms of performance if you can do without extremely low bass, but you can still help out with a suitable sub. The price is then higher than a party speaker, but the sound and volume of the latter is clearly superior.

The speakers offer clear, powerful sound with sophisticated mids and brilliant highs. The bass could be richer. The workmanship and design are high-quality and the app is easy to use. The link for Bluetooth streaming is a great USP. You get really good quality for the price. A clear recommendation to buy!

I bought these 10" speakers mainly for conferences and other voice transmissions. But when I tried them out, I realized that they also have rich bass for their compact size. Even open air, there is still enough pressure at a moderate volume. The Bluetooth interface ensures great flexibility and quick set-up and dismantling times.
All in all, I am very satisfied!

Use 2* TS412 in combination with 2*TS315s.
Fits very well together but also alone without sub offer these in "DJ mode" a blatant bass.
The only thing that is not so 100% pointed out is that if the two boxes are paired via Bluetooth, that then as a playback source also only Bluetooth are used eg the cell phone.
I had thought I can pair the two and use as input my mixer, which is connected via XLR. Unfortunately, this is not so.
Find that with the Bluetooth still ingenious. Brauchst only power and can start immediately.

Have used the predecessor Alto TS 312 until now and could not imagine that you can still increase the boxes. But with the TS 412 Alto has definitely succeeded. In any case, 100 points!
