The Yamaha Arius YDP-S36 is a slim Slim Line digital piano, electric piano and home piano for rooms where shallow depth is particularly important. It offers 88 weighted keys with the GHS Graded Hammer Standard keyboard, Yamaha CFX concert grand sound, VRM Lite resonance, 192-note polyphony, three pedals, Bluetooth Audio, Bluetooth MIDI and Smart Pianist compatibility. That makes it the compact alternative to the YDP-146.

Slim Line Concept

The YDP-S36 was developed for modern living situations. The slim design requires little floor space and blends unobtrusively into living rooms, a teen's room, studios or apartments. The flat-closing lid provides a tidy look when the instrument is not being played. Despite the compact depth, it retains the playing feel of a full-size 88-key digital piano.

GHS Keyboard

The GHS weighted action delivers a naturally graded touch. Low keys feel heavier, high keys feel lighter. This principle supports clean technique and makes the YDP-S36 especially attractive for beginners, music students and anyone who wants to practice at home regularly.

Yamaha CFX Concert Grand Sound

The built-in CFX sound forms the sonic foundation of the instrument. It sounds clear, musical and dynamically playable. VRM Lite generates additional resonance details that add naturalness during pedal use and legato passages. Reverb types, key-off samples and the Stereophonic Optimizer expand the sound for both speaker and headphone operation.

Bluetooth and Learning Convenience

With Bluetooth Audio you can play music, backtracks or tutorials directly through the piano. Bluetooth MIDI enables wireless connection to the Yamaha Smart Pianist app. This makes practicing more comfortable, more motivating and better integrated into digital learning routines.
