NUVO jSax 2.0 Black-Green

Playful Introduction to the World of the Saxophone!

The NUVO jSax 2.0 is an exceptionally lightweight kids' saxophone for young musicians who want to gain early experience with sound production, fingering patterns and the characteristic feel of a saxophone. The instrument follows traditional saxophone fingering patterns and blends a pleasantly soft tone with a child-friendly, robust construction. With just 120 g of weight, a comfortable curved design and low-maintenance materials, the jSax is ideal for beginners. Its C tuning also makes it easier to play together with other NUVO instruments and other C-tuned instruments.

Traditional Fingering for an Easy Start

The fingering patterns of the NUVO jSax 2.0 are based on the classic saxophone. This lets young players learn basic movements and playing techniques that can make the later transition to a traditional saxophone easier. The instrument is chromatically playable and offers a range of 1.5 octaves from C to G. That provides a versatile range for first melodies, exercises and group playing.

Easy-to-Play Mouthpiece with Plastic Reed

The mouthpiece features a practical guide notch that automatically positions the plastic reed correctly when inserted. The robust plastic reed is virtually wear-free and designed for easy response. An elastic reed screw secures the reed reliably. For beginners with small hands, closure caps are also part of the instrument’s design, making the jSax 2.0 particularly well suited to young players.

Lightweight, Child-Friendly Construction

The jSax 2.0 is made from a lightweight polymer and weighs only 120 g. The curved neck and the curved silicone bell create the typical compact shape of the standard version. The keys are also made of silicone. An adjustable thumb rest allows individual adjustment to the player's hand and supports a comfortable posture during practice and playing. The materials used are TÜV-tested.

Waterproof and Easy to Clean

A major everyday advantage is the fully waterproof construction. The NUVO jSax 2.0 is 100% waterproof and washable. This means the instrument can be cleaned regularly with warm water and a little dish soap. Especially for a children's instrument, the simple care offers a practical benefit and supports hygienic use at home, in music lessons or when playing together.

Flexible Upgrades and Secure Transport

The curved standard version is ergonomically designed for children. Optionally, the instrument can be converted to a straight version with the separately available „Straighten Your jSax Kit“ by fitting a straight neck and a straight-shaped bell, which can provide extra comfort for adult players. The scope of delivery includes a form-fitting case with shoulder strap as well as a fingering chart, user manual, reeds and care materials. That way the compact kids' saxophone can be transported safely and is comprehensively equipped for the first musical steps.
