The saxophones of the P. Mauriat Black Pearl series are top-tier instruments at a professional level, offering immense tonal possibilities while boasting unparalleled aesthetic sophistication. The large bore combined with the enlarged bow and expansive bell allows for effortless low tones and an omnidirectional sound.
The black nickel coating on the body contributes to a dark, focused, and silky tone. The 500 model is ergonomically shaped and features both a left and right small key, easily accessible side keys, an extremely stable silver-plated key mechanism with black mother-of-pearl keys, and a ribbed construction that gives this saxophone unlimited potential.
