The Schreiber D41 clarinet is an instrument for discerning players. The mechanism of the Schreiber D41 has been expanded with a twelfth-key linkage on the upper joint as well as a double C key, an F lever and a mechanism for a perfectly tuned "E" on the lower joint. This enables additional fingering combinations and noticeably improves the tone spectrum of individual notes.

Across models, the tone-hole layout has been optimized on all clarinets from the D12 to the D61. This significantly improves balanced intonation and reduces air resistance.

The altered key positioning not only improves the fit of the keys on the body but also guarantees optimal sealing of the tone holes. In addition to the optimized bore — which, thanks to the smooth transition from the lower joint to the bell, produces less resistance in the instrument and a more even airflow — the new bell shape with thicker walls is primarily responsible for the full sound and greater projection.

Visually, the package of primarily acoustic innovations is rounded off by the perfected finish, which brings out the elegant wood grain of the new W. Schreiber clarinet generation.

High-Quality Materials & Best Craftsmanship

The grenadilla wood surface is left natural and is traditionally impregnated with raw linseed oil. This effectively protects the wood against moisture and gives it an elegant, silky appearance.

The silver-plated rings in the new elegant design, the high-quality, very durable engraving and the silver-plated reed screw complete the gleaming appearance of the W. Schreiber clarinets. All models now ship fitted with reeds from AW Reeds, made in Germany.

Tuner With Metronome

This universal device is the perfect companion for virtually any instrument. Not only can nearly every instrument be tuned correctly using the contact microphone and the wide tuning range, but the built-in metronome also keeps everything at the right tempo. The calibratable tuner offers 5 tuning modes, a tone generator and a jack input with contact microphone. The metronome features a wide tempo range of 30 to 260 BPM, 9 time signatures and various rhythm subdivisions.

If you own a nice clarinet, you want to care for it properly. The Classic Cantabile cleaning kit for internal and external cleaning of clarinets is the right accessory.

Music Stand

This music stand features a tripod construction for optimal stability. The legs are fitted with solid, non-slip rubber caps. The music tray can be tilted and fixed with an adjustment screw. With a tray depth of approx. 4 cm, this stand is also excellent for thick music books.
