Across all models from the D12 to the D61, the tone hole network has been optimized. This significantly ensures balanced intonation and easier blowing resistance.

The repositioning of the keys not only improves their fit on the body but also guarantees optimal coverage of the tone holes. Alongside the optimized bore, which creates less resistance and a consistent airflow through the smooth transition from the lower joint to the bell, the new bell shape with thicker walls is mainly responsible for the full sound and greater projection.

The overall package of mostly acoustic innovations is visually rounded off by the perfected surface treatment, which brings out the elegant wood grain of the new generation of W. Schreiber clarinets to perfection.

High-Quality Materials & Excellent Craftsmanship

The surface made of grenadilla wood is untreated and impregnated in the traditional way with natural linseed oil. This effectively protects the wood against moisture and gives it an elegant, silky appearance. The silver-plated rings in the new refined design, the high-quality, very durable engraving, and the silver-plated leaf screw complete the brilliant appearance of the W. Schreiber clarinets.

All models are now equipped with reeds from AW Reeds, made in Germany.

Tuner with Metronome

This universal device is the perfect companion for virtually any instrument. Not only can almost any instrument be tuned accurately using the contact microphone and wide tuning range, but the built-in metronome also keeps everything in the right tempo. The calibratable tuner offers 5 tuning modes, a tone generator, and a jack input with contact microphone. The metronome features a wide tempo range from 30 to 260 beats per minute, 9 time signatures, and various rhythm subdivisions.
