The NUVO Clarinéo 2.0 is a compact and exceptionally easy-to-play C clarinet, specially developed for young musicians and early instrumental lessons. Children from the age of 4 can learn the basics of clarinet playing with this modern woodwind instrument. Weighing just 275 g, with a child-friendly design and a full, pleasantly warm tone, the Clarinéo 2.0 combines uncomplicated handling with a convincing musical experience. Sound production works like on classical clarinets via a vibrating reed on the mouthpiece. On the NUVO Clarinéo 2.0 a resilient plastic reed is used, which is particularly suitable for beginners and young players. The mouthpiece and reed feature a practical guide notch, so the reed can be inserted easily and reliably into the correct position. The reinforced mouthpiece mount additionally supports a robust construction for regular use in lessons and for practicing at home.

C Tuning for Flexible Music Lessons

The Clarinéo 2.0 is tuned in C, allowing direct ensemble playing with many other instruments. Sheet music for recorder, piano, flute or voice can be used without thinking or transposing. This feature makes the NUVO clarinet especially attractive for music schools, early childhood music education, general music lessons and ensembles with mixed instruments. At the same time the instrument is smaller and lighter than a classic B-flat clarinet and is therefore very well suited to smaller hands.

Waterproof and Easy to Clean

The body is made from a lightweight polymer, while the bell is made of silicone. The instrument is 100% waterproof and washable, so it can be cleaned regularly with warm water and a little dish soap. This low-maintenance construction is a practical advantage, especially when used by children or in lessons. Silicone pads as well as robust stainless-steel axles and stainless-steel rollers round off the durable hardware.

Comfortable Features for Young Musicians

An adjustable thumb rest allows individual adjustment to the player’s hand and supports a comfortable posture. The materials used are TÜV-tested. For a direct start the Clarinéo 2.0 is supplied with comprehensive accessories. These include two NUVO plastic reeds, one cane reed, a mouthpiece cap, a pull-through swab, NUVO special grease for the joints, an instruction booklet and a handy case with carrying strap.
