Boehm Clarinet Made of Wood Composite - Resistant to External Influences!
The clarinet made of wood composite features excellent craftsmanship and good tuning. This makes Lechgold clarinets a reliable, durable companion in amateur music.
Composite Material
The body of this clarinet consists of a special wood-plastic blend that combines the positive tonal qualities of wood with the durability of plastic. For the production of this special material, wood scraps from manufacturing are recycled and pressed with plastic into body blanks. Unlike instruments made of pure wood, this clarinet is very resistant to fluctuations in humidity and temperature.
Features
The instrument has a smooth key mechanism made of silver-plated nickel silver with an Eb lever. Two bulbs allow different tuning of the woodwind instrument. Both bulbs and the bell are equipped with a "wood" ring, which positively affects response and vibration characteristics. The Lechgold EK-20/18 is a great instrument for the ambitious amateur musician.
Sound
Typical for Boehm clarinets is the overtone-rich tonal variety, which also applies to this instrument. The slightly higher weight of this instrument provides significantly more tonal fullness.

Mouthpiece
The B40 from Vandoren has the same technical features as the B44. A slightly wider tip rail leads to a compact, centered sound.

The entire package comes in a lightweight and sturdy case equipped with 2 outer pockets and backpack straps. While the small front pocket provides quick access to essential items, the large compartment features separate sections for check and business cards, pens, and much more.
