The name E13 is legendary for a clarinet that has remained unchanged for 40 years. Originating from the BC20—the clarinet played by Jacques Lancelot—the E13 has accompanied amateurs and advanced players to conservatories, music schools, and wind orchestras worldwide.

Crafted from the finest pieces of Mozambican grenadilla wood and assembled in the company’s own workshop, this clarinet features all the technical qualities of the professional product line: silver mechanism and plating, blue steel springs, screwed supports, threaded screws, and natural cork inserts at the joints.

Equipped with leather pads since January 2015, the E13 now inherits the brand-new bell from its sister clarinet, the RC (cf. Robert Carrée), which offers more projection and brightness across all registers and tonal ranges.

The deep F-tone adjustment screw allows finer control of the resulting action, implemented via its lever.

Tuner with Metronome

This versatile device is the perfect companion for virtually any instrument. Not only can nearly every instrument be tuned accurately using the contact microphone and wide tuning range, but the built-in metronome keeps everything in perfect tempo. The calibratable tuner offers 5 tuning modes, a tone generator, and a jack input with contact microphone. The metronome features a wide tempo range from 30 to 260 beats per minute, 9 time signatures, and various rhythm subdivisions.
