The Classic Cantabile pocket saxophone is a pretty, handy wind instrument that sounds like a blend of saxophone and clarinet.
Weighing only 177 g, this compact pocket saxophone—as the name suggests—can be taken anywhere with ease. Nothing stands in the way of spontaneous playing in the park, pedestrian zones, highway traffic jams, or of course, classic stage performances!
To play the Classic Cantabile X-20, a Bb clarinet reed with French cut is used! The notes are fingered like the German fingering system of a soprano recorder.
By the way, it was a Hawaiian who invented this interesting instrument in the 1970s. The X-20, as a woodwind instrument, is especially suitable for beginners because it is relatively easy to play. The fingering technique resembles that of a flute. Depending on the blowing technique, the pocket saxophone’s tone can vary from "delicate" to "full and rich."
