The Legendary Marine Band With Extended Range!
When Jacob HOHNER filed a patent for his new harmonica design in the USA on January 30, 1896, nobody could have guessed how deeply he would influence the music of the future. The Marine Band, originally intended for folk music, helped drive the development of blues, folk, rock and pop — then as now!
The Marine Band became a true folk instrument played in every imaginable place: in backyards, on the streets and on major concert stages. It played a key role in immortal hits and film melodies and was even immortalized in literature. This remarkably compact instrument still shapes how many people picture a harmonica today!
The Marine Band 364/24 G with Richter tuning features an extended upper range. It sports an attractive cover engraving that is attached to the pearwood comb body.
