Hohner Chromonica - The First Choice for Antonio Serrano!
"My philosophy when selecting an instrument is: If something works, don't change it too much," says Spanish harmonica pro Antonio Serrano. The Hohner Antonio Serrano Signature model is essentially a Super Chromonica 270 with one small change that makes a big difference in terms of maintenance and fine-tuning.
The reed plates are attached to the comb body with screws instead of nails, so the reeds inside are easily accessible. This greatly simplifies cleaning, replacing valves, or tuning and swapping reeds, and makes the instrument significantly more durable.
Comb Body: High-quality impregnated wood body (pearwood) with optimized sound combs for the fastest response.
Reed Plates: 7-screw-mounted quality reed plates manufactured to the tightest tolerances for maximum airtightness and easy maintenance.
Reeds: Precision-machined brass reeds suitable for the toughest demands.
Mouthpiece: Perfectly matched mouthpiece/slide components ensure a quiet, precise slide action while offering maximum playing comfort.
Case: Attractive genuine leather case for optimal protection and secure instrument transport.
Hohner - Enjoy music!
