4-valve Bb Tenor Tuba in a compact design!
The tenor tuba, with its warm and resonant tone, was originally used by Spanish bandas musicians and has since established itself as a high-quality alternative to the euphonium.
The bore of the Lechgold TT-25/4L tenor tuba in Bb corresponds to that of an euphonium (15.5 mm); however, its tubing taper is broader. Combined with the bell diameter of 310 mm, this produces a rich, majestic, and nuanced sound.
Applications: From Ensemble to Symphony Orchestra
The tenor tuba was designed for use in the symphony orchestra, in symphonic wind orchestras, and in brass ensembles. Its carrying tone makes it an excellent choice both in ensembles and as a solo instrument.
