It’s almost a straight trumpet in fact, that we can tune with the slides, not only the valve slide but the general tuning Bb, for Aida and other festive Fanfare goals. And a impressive great sound in general !!!
Still, have a bit lower tuning pitch, it’s on the limite [441”]. Playing with the regular Bb trumpet mouthpiece will be lower of what I was expecting. The Receiver it’s smaller (they should verify this !!!) but fits there. I’m using a swallow mouthpiece (similar piccolo mouthpiece) and/or with cornet shank & adapter.
Therefore, choosing the right mouthpiece for this incredible “horn” will be super effective. I’m delighted and enjoining. Recommend !!! Cheers :)
