The trombones of Yamaha's 400 Series impress with a beautifully full tone, an even response and a flawless quart valve mechanism. They're easy to play and look just like Yamaha's professional trombones — except for the price.

The bell diameter and bore are the same as the "Pro" models, from which the 400 Series trombones also inherit many hand-finished details. All models feature a 214.4 mm gold-brass bell, which guarantees a warm, full sound and performs wonderfully in any concert hall. These trombones also offer incredibly accurate intonation, very light slide action, easy response and comfortable playability. The YSL-446GE is equipped with an original Yamaha quart valve that moves very easily and provides an open, free response.

Tuner With Metronome

This versatile device is the perfect companion for virtually any instrument. Not only can almost any instrument be tuned accurately with the contact microphone and the wide tuning range, but the built-in metronome also keeps everything in tempo. The calibratable tuner offers 5 tuning modes, a tone generator and a jack input for a contact microphone. The metronome features a wide tempo range from 30 to 260 clicks per minute, 9 time signatures and various rhythm subdivisions.

Trombone Stand

The Classic Cantabile PS-2009 provides uncompromisingly secure support for trombones and folds down to just 60 cm for compact storage. The stand's height can be comfortably and steplessly adjusted via the central extension from 61 to 106 cm. Its sturdy tripod base with a solid socket ensures a stable, quiet stance. The cone for the bell on the PS-2009 is equipped with a metal suspension to always ensure a "soft landing" for your instrument. The cone position can be adjusted steplessly to optimally adapt the stand.
