Bohemian Tenor Horn With Raised 3rd Valve Slide!

Thanks to its innovative design, the Lechgold Tenor Horn TH-25/4GL sits comfortably and ergonomically in the hand and impresses — alongside easy response and a rich, projecting tone — with highly practical handling. In the 3rd valve slide routed upwards, water automatically runs down and therefore collects in the main tuning slide. The instrument is also perfectly balanced.

This ideally balanced tenor horn is perfectly suited for ambitious tenor players who perform in brass bands or Bohemian-Moravian wind orchestras. It also blends harmoniously into wind ensembles or steps into the spotlight for solo passages.

For marches and stationary concerts the TH-25/4GL is equipped with a strap holder and a marching lyre box. The instrument is delivered, of course, in a lightweight case with backpack fittings and includes a mouthpiece.

High-Quality Components for Boundless Playing Pleasure

The body, leadpipe and bell of the Lechgold Tenor Horn are made of gold brass. The four ergonomically arranged piston valves are equipped with original Minibal joints. The bell diameter is 27 cm, and the conical bore measures 14 - 15.5 mm.

The valve mechanism is fitted with Minibal joints, which guarantee perfect and reliable valve action. Developed in 1994 by Martin Seibold in Dietramszell (Upper Bavaria), the Minibal joint ensures precise, reliable and silent movement of rotary valves! The patented ball joint has proven itself over the past 30 years and is appreciated by amateurs and professionals alike.
