Bohemian Tenor Horn with Raised 3rd Valve Slide!

Thanks to its innovative design, the Lechgold Tenor Horn TH-25/4GL sits comfortably and ergonomically in the hand and impresses - besides its easy response and robust, carrying tone - with its practical handling. Because the 3rd valve slide is routed upward, moisture automatically runs downward and collects in the main tuning slide. In addition, the instrument is perfectly balanced.

This well-balanced tenor horn is ideal for ambitious tenor players in community bands or Bohemian-Moravian brass bands. It fits just as harmoniously into wind ensembles or takes the spotlight during solo passages.

For parades and stand concerts the TH-25/4GL is equipped with a strap holder and marching lyre box. The instrument is of course delivered in a lightweight case with backpack straps and includes a mouthpiece.

High-Quality Components for Boundless Playing Pleasure

The body, leadpipe and bell of the Lechgold tenor horn are made of gold brass. The four ergonomically arranged piston valves are equipped with Original Minibal® joints. The bell diameter is 27 cm, the conical bore measures 14 - 15.5 mm.

Original Minibal Joints

The valve mechanism is fitted with Minibal joints and therefore guarantees a perfect and reliable valve action. Developed in 1994 by Martin Seibold in Dietramszell, Upper Bavaria, the Minibal joint provides a precise, reliable and silent movement for rotary valves! The patented ball joint has proven its worth over the past 30 years and is valued by amateurs and professionals alike!
