The traditional construction of the Cerveny VFC-CR8126RS cornet forms the basis for its easy response and impressive tonal projection. The bell has a diameter of 125 mm, and the bore measures 11.79 mm.

The cornet and leadpipe are made of gold brass. The valves are stainless steel, and the slides are brass. The instrument’s radiant silver finish highlights the black nickel fittings (valve buttons & caps, tuning slide triggers, water keys) especially well.
