Hello,
if I understand correctly, the air streamer comes to the end of the mouthpiece along with the reed.
How loud is the sound audible from the mouthpiece? Does it get quieter at all? I'm looking for practice things to practice quietly or noiselessly even late at night....

Since the airflow in the breath trainer is only redirected to lift the balls, the sound will not be quieter than if you just play into the mouthpiece. The training goal with the breath trainer is to produce a steady, uninterrupted tone while also paying attention to intonation.
