The D100 is a medium-open mouthpiece with high efficiency that produces a large, assertive tone even with light blowing. It allows for breathy subtone while remaining clear and precise without becoming too airy. With reed strengths between 2 and 2½, it is well suited for all styles. The remarkable projection makes it especially valuable for musicians who play in a variety of musical settings and need a powerful, expressive sound.
