Most renowned orchestras use Perinet valves on their trumpets but want the dark, warm tone of the rotary instruments common in Central Europe, especially Austria. The BV series is based on the famous Breslmair standard mouthpieces (e.g., G2) but takes into account all the differences in valve systems to offer the possibility of producing a bright and brilliant yet broad, warm, and unique sound.
