Custom-Fitted Music Holder Box for Hoyer Double Horn 801!

The 3D-printed marching music holders from Franz Straub’s master workshop are not only innovative and precisely crafted for various French horn models, but also offer an elegant solution for horn players who want to protect the lacquer, the original substance of their instrument, and last but not least, their nerves.

The marching music holder, which attaches effortlessly to the instrument, was developed for horns without a factory-installed music holder box—like the Hoyer F-/Bb double horn 801. When a move, a marching competition, or a serenade is coming up, the holder simply clips onto the horn and is removed after use. Alternatively, only the marching fork can be detached while the holder remains permanently on the French horn.

Innovative, Thoughtful, Stable & Sustainable

The holder is printed from a special durable plastic and encases the metal square profile into which the stem of the marching fork (sold separately) is inserted. It’s designed so cleverly that it holds securely and stably on the instrument without any additional fastening or screws.

If the horn player gets caught on something or bumped, the holder will simply click off. This prevents dents, bent parts, and consequential damage to tuning slides or other parts of the instrument. If the stem clamping screw is lost, a standard M4 knurled screw can be used as a replacement.
