Stentor SR1018A Violin 4/4 Student Standard Set

Solid Introduction To The World Of The Violin!

The Stentor SR1018A Student Standard Violin in 4/4 size is a complete violin outfit for aspiring musicians seeking a reliable student instrument at an attractive entry price. Unlike many very inexpensive beginner violins, this acoustic violin is built to correct dimensions and specifications. Solid carved tonewoods, functional fittings and the practical accessories—wooden bow and case—make it a convincing choice for music lessons, school and regular practice. The Stentor Student Standard combines a sturdy construction with a classic appearance and provides a solid foundation for the first musical steps.

Solid Tonewoods And Traditional Construction

The body of the Stentor SR1018A is made from carved, solid tonewoods, setting it apart from simple instruments made of pressed wood. The traditional construction provides an important basis for tone development and learning a clean playing technique. Decorative inlaid purfling underscores the classic look of the 4/4 violin. Thanks to correct construction dimensions, the Student Standard offers the essential characteristics expected of a functional student violin.

Practical Features For Precise Tuning

The fingerboard and tuning pegs are made of black-stained hardwood and blend harmoniously into the violin's traditional appearance. The lightweight tailpiece made of textured plastic features four integrated fine tuners, allowing you to adjust the tuning of each string very precisely. This practical equipment is especially helpful when learning the instrument, because correct tuning is a key prerequisite for developing a reliable ear and clean intonation.

Wooden Bow With Real Horsehair

The Stentor Student Standard violin outfit includes a matching wooden bow. It is strung with real horsehair and features an ebony frog. That gives you a classic bow designed for the basic bowing techniques used in violin lessons. From the first controlled bow stroke to simple melodies, the combination of violin and wooden bow supports a systematic introduction to violin playing.

Lightweight Case For Lessons And Transport

For practical storage and transport, the set includes a lightweight violin case with a brown fabric covering and shoulder straps. This makes it easy to take the 4/4 violin to music school, lessons or rehearsals. The case provides a dedicated storage space for the instrument and complements the student violin set with a practical transport solution. Thanks to the shoulder straps, you can comfortably carry the instrument on the way to lessons.
