Hawaiian Guitar With Soprano Scale!
\r\nThe Classic Cantabile US-50 features a matte-finished body and a hardwood neck with a neatly crafted fingerboard. The smooth-running guitar machine heads make tuning the ukulele a breeze.
\r\nThe ukulele comes fitted with nylon strings. Its compact size makes it perfect for playing on the go, as it easily stows in a backpack or an optional gig bag.
\r\nOriginally, Portuguese immigrant João Fernandes brought the Braguinha, a local form of the cavaquinho, from Madeira to Hawaii in 1879. There it acquired the name "Ukulele" ("jumping flea"), reflecting the Hawaiians' impression when they saw fingers moving rapidly across the instrument's fingerboard. From Hawaii the ukulele then made its way via America to Europe and quickly won over the music scene there as well.
