Granular Sampler / Effect Processor LIVEN Texture Lab!

The Texture Lab is a 4-voice granular synthesizer/sampler that lets you break tones and samples into different grain sizes (grains) from 2 ms up to 1 second, so you can create entirely new sounds by manipulating parameters like grain shape & size, density, time-stretching, spatial position and playback mode. For manipulation and modulation you get, among other tools, two modulators, an envelope generator and a flexible filter (LP/HP/BP) with extensive options — enabling everything from beautiful ambient pads to experimental, chaotic textures beyond imagination and giving your creativity no limits.

Effect Processor for Granular Real-Time Processing

Texture Lab can also be used as an effect processor for granular real-time processing of stereo signals from the line input. You can also freeze these real-time processed signals for up to 6 seconds and add granulated sound effects.

Shimmering Reverb for Majestic Spaces

The Texture Lab's flexible engine also delivers a majestic shimmer reverb by layering reverbs across multiple octaves. The LIVEN Texture Lab features six high-quality stereo reverb types. All reverb types are editable via a shimmer parameter that lets you stack your reverb in octaves to create truly majestic-sounding spaces.

The shimmer reverb can also be applied to the stereo line input signal.

128-Step Sequencer with Parameter Automation

Texture Lab is equipped with the powerful 128-step sequencer that has already earned the LIVEN series a strong reputation. In addition to recording notes, changes to granular processing parameters can be recorded and automated over time. You can record knob movements in real time or write parameters directly to specific steps, enabling more complex sound evolutions.

World-renowned sound designers have provided 32 presets as the result of their experiments.
