Independent Control Over Your Drive Section!

The Crazy Tube Circuits Triptychon XT is a purpose-built external footswitch for the Crazy Tube Circuits Triptychon effects pedal. The compact footswitch lets you control the drive/overdrive section independently of the pedal’s onboard footswitches. That gives you instant access to an extra switching function and lets you flexibly shape the gain stack—Fuzz, Octave/Boost and amp-style drive. The XT is fully passive and needs no separate power source.

Switch the Drive Section Independently

On the Triptychon the drive section is normally assigned via the pedal’s internal operation-assign switch to either the Fuzz or the Octave/Boost section. With the Triptychon XT you can instead activate it independently or put it into True Bypass. That makes quick shifts between gain stages effortless and greatly expands your gain-stacking options.

Passive Design and Simple Connection

The Triptychon XT uses a passive latching footswitch—no battery or external power needed. You connect it to the Triptychon’s dedicated XT jack using a standard mono instrument cable. Note: this control is designed specifically for a passive footswitch; active switching circuits are not suitable.

Compact Addition to Your Pedalboard

With its robust metal housing and compact design the XT footswitch integrates space-saving on your pedalboard. Dimensions (W x D x H): 54 x 51 x 49 mm and the low weight of 0.1 kg make it a practical addition for stage, rehearsal room and studio.
