The steel strings get their incredibly brilliant and balanced sound from their phosphor bronze winding. This absolutely even winding is also very comfortable for your fingers. The complete set as well as the individual strings are individually packaged and each string is individually numbered - so stringing goes like clockwork.

The high E-string and the G-string are the strings that are subjected to the greatest mechanical stress. Since these two strings are most likely to break, they are included twice in the string set.
