Hybrid Slinky M-Steel Strings for Electric Guitar!
The Ernie Ball M-Steel strings are the loudest and most expressive strings ever produced. They deliver higher output, greater resonance, faster response and increased toughness. M-Steel stands for Maraging steel and is a high-strength, extremely tough steel used, for example, in aerospace and for blades and knives.
The wound strings feature a hexagonal Maraging steel core wrapped with a wire made from a patented super-cobalt alloy. That construction produces a fat, powerful tone with a pleasing low end. The M-Steel plain strings are made from specially hardened steel, which makes them more resilient and resistant to fatigue.
