Ernie Ball 2226 Nickel Wound - Burly Slinky - Electric Guitar Strings!
The Ernie Ball wound strings consist of nickel-plated steel wrapped around a hexagonal steel core. The plain strings are made from specially hardened and tin-coated high-strength carbon steel.
The raw materials delivered to the factory are processed immediately and the strings are airtight packed. This and the dry climate of California's Coachella Valley ensure the strings stay fresh for a long time even in the packaging.

I use Power Slinky gauge 11-48 on my vintage Strat and they sound awesome but I have always thought that it would be nice to have a custom gauge that fits my playing style and that would get me some more bottom from my American Standard Strat. This is it.

I played Daddarios before and was never happy with the early corrosion and discoloration, despite care. The EB's are less sensitive there.
