On my acoustic bass, the volume difference between the E and A strings on the one hand and the D and G strings when playing through an amp is too great.
Am therefore returned to the Roundwounds. There the difference is not so serious and you can compensate it by dynamic playing quite well.

The Fender 9050ML are for me the optimal strings for a Fender Precision Bass. Grip, tension and even tone are good. That the E-string is a little flabbier and sounds duller is unfortunately common with flatwound strings. Why actually? The Fender E-string is but here better than other known to me strings.
