Nickelwound String for Electric Bass with Nanoweb Coating!
Based on detailed feedback from over a thousand bassists, our tailored selection of four-, five-, and six-string bass string sets in nickel-wound and stainless steel covers long and extra-long scales and nearly every gauge combination you might need. All feature our innovative string coating technology.
Unlike other string brands, Elixir coats the entire string. This protects not only the string surface but also the winding gaps where tone-killing dirt usually accumulates on coated and uncoated strings from other brands.
These premium round-wound strings for electric bass with nickel-plated steel winding deliver a full, round tone, outstanding clarity, and a powerful midrange presence. At the same time, the NANOWEB coating, specially developed for bass, provides a comfortable, natural playing feel that improves grip and reduces fret noise.
