Are these strings tonally suitable for a fretless bass ? or which strings are recommended. Have tested flat and also Rundwood, but am not completely satisfied soundwise,

In principle, you can use all strings, depending on your taste. However, the fingerboard will quickly get grooves with normal roundwounds, because they have a much higher abrasion on the fingerboard.
