The solid Sitka spruce top delivers an especially wide frequency range — from shimmering highs through tight mids to full-bodied lows. The back and sides of Makassar ebony give the guitar not only an exotic appearance but also deep, powerful lows and clear, sparkling highs. The Ibanez T-Bar Undersaddle pickup transmits this tone precisely to any connected amplification system, supported by the AEQ-TP2 preamp with 2-band EQ and an integrated, easy-to-read tuner.
