First introduced in 1942, this acoustic guitar nicknamed "The Workhorse" has become the centerpiece of the dreadnought series with round-shoulder design. The J-45 is world-famous for its full, balanced tone, warm bass, and excellent projection. It has now been further developed to carry this legacy into new realms. The Gibson J-45 50s Faded offers a full tonal spectrum with incredible dynamic range, warm mids, and a crisp, powerful bass.
Now available with a faded satin nitrocellulose finish that further emphasizes the vintage style of this guitar, and equipped with a modern LR Baggs pickup and electronics package for studio and stage. A hard shell case is also included.
