The UB-100 SP Keyboard Stand offers a strong and stable stand for your keyboard. With a base of wood, this turns your Classic Cantabile SP-150/250 keyboard into a full-blown digital piano. You can attach your SP-150 or SP-250 with the included screws that attach to the stand.
Soft, Sostenuto, and Sustain Pedals
The UB-100SP base also includes a 3-pedal unit, which connects via cable to the stage piano. As with an acoustic piano, you have three pedals available to influence the sound of the pieces you play. The soft pedal is on the left and the sostenuto pedal in the middle are played with the left foot. The sustain pedal on the right side is usually used most frequently. It makes all tones last longer while the middle sostenuto pedal only extends sounds already played. The soft pedal on the left reduces the volume of the notes you play, causing a softer sound.

Easy to set up and great, it turns the SP-250 into a real digital piano that stands stable and secure. With the keyboard stand that I had before, it wobbled when playing, because the SP-250 is quite a large and weighty keyboard. Nevertheless, for us with three children, everything is still relatively light, can thus be carried comfortably to another place, for example, to vacuum there times or to free up space for other things, for us a big advantage over "real" and therefore quite heavy digital pianos, so we are all around super satisfied with both the SP-250 and the piano base.

Quickly screwed together with 4 screws, whereby the screw holes are then also covered with a plastic cap, so that it looks better. The SP-250 is then fixed with 4 screws from below and you have a very valuable piano with three stable pedals.

Have ordered the base immediately with the SP250 as a set and so still saved, because I would like to have at least sustain and soft pedal. Use today the sostenuto more than the soft pedal. Did not know before what it is for, because I knew only pianos or digital pianos with two pedals.
The workmanship of the base is clean and it makes the SP250 look much classier. Just like a real digital piano. Now my instrument may also take place in the living room ;-)

Since I also have the SP250 in mobile use and play it on stage standing up (unfortunately then only with the sustain pedal), I have replaced the four screws with which the SP250 is attached to the base with M6 thumbscrews (available from the Franconian competition as music stand accessories), which makes the removal and attachment of the SP250 tool-free and much easier.
