Ibanez TS808HWV2 Tubescreamer Handwired Next-Gen

As a user of Fender tube amps, I usually use an OD to thicken the fantastic clean sounds. The TS808HV2 is predestined for this. But the simple and very effective setting options can also conjure up a creamy and smooth distortion from the amp.

Where other overdrives stop, the TS Handwired just begins, without neglecting the sound magic of the old tubescreamer. For me, the best TS of all time.

Real True Bypass !!!

Even in times of digital superlatives, nothing beats an analog guitar setup in my opinion. A good guitar and a tube amp are often enough. A few analog effects (OD, delay, tremolo/chorus, reverb), which should have a true bypass, round off the whole thing. Everything else is done by your fingers.
But I digress....

For the price, a decent power supply should be included. I've tried several 9 volt power supplies that didn't work. Especially the standard parts from Thomann don't work, although a call there confirmed their suitability. Probably wrong polarity. In the end, I found a good power supply in my stock that is perfectly suitable. So, buy a suitable power supply right away (do some research or ask for advice).

Thanks to Kirstein for the smooth transaction. Tip: recommend a power supply unit right away. Or even better: offer one in a bundle. If you spend over 300.00 EUR on an OD, the few euros will no longer matter.

Conclusion: it has always been a little more expensive to have a special taste. But your ears and those of your listeners will appreciate it.
