The Fender The Pelt Fuzz V2 is a versatile transistor-based fuzz pedal for electric guitar and bass that blends classic fuzz tones with extensive shaping options. Its silicon transistors deliver a wide range of gain textures — from smooth, harmonically rich tones to aggressive, experimental fuzz colors. Beyond the Fuzz, Tone and Level controls, you get Sag, Bloom and Blend plus Mids and Thick switches as powerful shaping tools. Footswitchable Octave and Chaos modes further expand the pedal's palette with traditional octave effects and deliberately unconventional sonic textures.

Silicon Fuzz With Versatile Tone Shaping

At the heart of The Pelt Fuzz V2 sits a transistor-based fuzz circuit built around silicon transistors. The classic Fuzz, Tone and Level knobs let you dial in distortion amount, tonal character and output level precisely. That makes the pedal equally at home producing warm, thick fuzz as it is creating much rougher, aggressive textures. Sag and Bloom add further control, determining when and how strongly the fuzz affects your input signal. At the same time, you can sculpt the attack and decay of each note in greater detail.

Octave and Chaos for Experimental Sounds

A dedicated Octave footswitch expands the fuzz signal with extra harmonic possibilities. In the classic Octave mode the effect adds a clean octave. When you engage Chaos mode, the pedal produces an asymmetric octave effect with odd artifacts and deliberately unpredictable changes to the signal. This lets the Octave Fuzz cover everything from vintage-style tones to experimental noise, alternative and modern effect sounds.

Blend Control for Guitar and Bass

The built-in Blend control lets you mix the clean input signal with the processed fuzz signal. On bass this helps preserve the instrument's fundamental character alongside the effect. You can also combine the fuzz with overdrive tones from pedals earlier in your chain. That makes The Pelt Fuzz V2 suitable both as a guitar effects pedal and as a flexible bass fuzz unit.

Mids and Thick for Extra EQ Options

The Mids and Thick switches add extra tonal-shaping options. Use them to boost or cut midrange and low frequencies and quickly switch between different sonic characters. That expands the pedal's role from compact, present fuzz tones to bigger, heavier sounds with added low-end foundation.

Flexible Switching and Pedalboard-Friendly Design

A multi-switch on the back lets you define how the multifunction footswitches behave. Parameters can be toggled with a quick press or held for momentary control. You can also choose between True Bypass and Buffered Bypass. A relay-based Auto-Bypass ensures the signal is passed through automatically if power fails. Top-mounted jacks make space-saving integration into your pedalboard easier.

Rugged Aluminum Chassis for Stage Use

The purple aluminum enclosure is built for regular use in rehearsal, studio and on stage. Power is 9 V DC, center negative. Current draw is 80 mA. A power supply is not included. With 1 MOhm input impedance and 470 Ohm output impedance the pedal is engineered for flexible integration into various effect chains.
