Two Boost Circuits in One Pedal!

The Hammertone Boost propels your sound into entirely new spheres. Use the Type switch to pick the boost: the clean op-amp boost raises volume without coloring the tone, while the JFET-based boost fattens the signal with overtone-rich, warm compression—just like the preamps of classic tape machines.

Thanks to the noticeable centering on the treble and bass controls you can easily set a boost with a flat frequency response, or dial highs and lows by feel—simply add or cut frequencies. This pedal is a little "all-in-one" magic box. Whether you need a solo boost without effects, want to push your amp into breakup in a controlled way, or make the fundamental tone more colorful—your creativity has no limits.

Active 2-Band EQ

Shape your tone with the active treble and bass controls. Boost the highs or the lows, or dial the frequencies in by feel.

20 dB Boost

With a hefty 20 dB of boost power you can coax a meaty overdrive out of your tube amp. Or make your tone cut for a big solo so every note sits cleanly in the mix.

Top-Mounted Jacks

The jacks for input, output and power are on top so you have more side space on your pedalboard for other effects. Routing also becomes simpler.

Soft-Touch Switch for Bypass

The true bypass circuit ensures your signal stays clear and dry when the pedal is switched off.

18V for More Headroom

The power supply is variable at 9V/18V. Tip: using an 18-volt adapter gives you about 6 dB more headroom than battery operation.
