The Monster Among Distortion Pedals!
With the Fender Godzilla Distortion you unleash uncompromising high-gain tones with massive presence. This extraordinary effect pedal combines a powerful Op-Amp distortion circuit with flexible tone control and iconic kaiju-inspired design. From aggressive metal riffs and punchy hard-rock tones to singing lead lines, the pedal delivers brutal distortion with enormous clarity and impressive saturation. Even at extreme gain settings your sound remains precise, defined, and surprisingly low-noise.
Maximum Control Over Your Sound
The active treble and bass controls give you highly versatile tone shaping. With up to ±15 dB of boost or cut you can dial highs and lows precisely to your amp, guitar, or playing style. Whether you want modern tight-metal attack or thick classic-rock walls with a warm foundation, this distortion pedal responds immediately and musically to your adjustments. An internal mid trimmer provides even more control over your sound's presence in the band mix.
Uncompromising Distortion Performance
The powerful distortion knob delivers huge gain reserves and creates aggressive tonal textures with dense harmonic content. Chugs feel punchy and defined while solos cut through the mix effortlessly. Thanks to True Bypass, your guitar signal remains completely untouched and clean when the pedal is off. That makes the pedal perfect for professional pedalboards and demanding live setups.
Built for Stage and Tour
The rugged aluminum enclosure stands up to heavy use in rehearsal or on tour. Top-mounted jacks save valuable space on your board and allow for an especially compact setup. The exclusive Godzilla wrap-around artwork also turns the pedal into a visual highlight for fans of kaiju, monster movies, and striking gear design.
Flexible Power Options
The Fender Godzilla Distortion can be powered either by a 9V battery or a suitable power supply. The connection uses a center-negative adapter with a 5.5 x 2.1 mm barrel plug. That makes it easy to integrate the pedal into existing effects setups.
