Authentic Recreation of the Big Muff and RAT Circuits!
Motherload pays tribute to the classic fuzz/distortion pedals that set the standard for saturated guitar tones. At the heart of this pedal are two independent, fully analog circuits inspired by nothing less than the holy grail: the Muff and Rat designs.
The R circuit ranges from mild overdrive to fully saturated tones. Use the filter control to tame the highs or cut through the mix when needed.
The M side delivers the classic fuzz/distortion sound you expect—but with excellent string separation and rich overtones for nearly endless sustain. While the tone control stays true to the classic Muff style, the voice control offers a wide range of Muff design variations.
The two circuits operate independently, each with its own EQ settings—until you press the LINK EQ button. That’s when the magic really starts! All EQ controls become active on both circuits, unlocking a whole new palette of tones.
