For Many Years, the Yamaha U Series Has Been the First Choice in Many Training Institutions, Among Professional Musicians and Discerning Hobby Pianists!
The 131 cm tall Yamaha U3 piano stands out thanks to its strong presence and its incomparable tonal qualities. The Yamaha U3 delivers a rich sound with a balanced and even tonal character across the entire keyboard.
The special rib arrangement of the Yamaha U3 gives the soundboard more power, while new brace spreads and other improvements increase rigidity, resonance and overall stability. For the hammers of the Yamaha U3, specially selected materials are used for each model to ensure optimal tone, good sound reproduction and durability.

Professionally Restored!
We have our used Yamaha pianos professionally restored in the Far East. The instruments are almost completely disassembled and defective parts are replaced. The felts and leather of the basic action are renewed, the tuning pins and the pinblock are checked and adjusted, the hammer felts are reshaped, voiced and reconditioned, and the damper felts are serviced.
After that, all keys and brass parts are cleaned and polished. The finish is touched up or renewed where necessary and then polished to a high gloss.
The instruments travel to us by shipping container so our piano technician can fine-regulate and tune them in detail before delivery to you. This way you receive a characterful piano in perfect condition that will fully convince you with its brilliance, tonal richness and appearance.
What Our Customers Say About the Used Yamaha Pianos in Our Range...
"The Yamaha U1 is a very well-known piano that, thanks to its excellent sound and beautiful looks, has played an important role in the music world for many decades. The question is: does that also apply to a used U1 instrument?
Our music school FIT IN music in Hildesheim has now received its second used U1 from Musikhaus Kirstein. Both pianos were flawlessly reconditioned and tuned and arrived in such good cosmetic condition that you would never suspect you were looking at an older instrument. Big compliments to the Musikhaus Kirstein team for the excellent refurbishment! Our teachers are very satisfied with the sound of both pianos and that satisfaction extends to our students, young and old alike. From our point of view, an absolute recommendation to buy! We will order the next Yamaha U1 from here again!"
Customer Fit in Music from Hildesheim
"After my 107-year-old 2-meter grand piano served me faithfully for almost 20 years, I wanted to switch to a space-saving, somewhat less sonically dominant upright instrument. My idea that a particularly high-quality digital piano might be an alternative turned out to be a mistake that could be easily reversed thanks to the very customer-oriented approach of Musikhaus Kirstein! I then decided on a Yamaha U3. I must admit I was uneasy about ordering a used acoustic piano without seeing, playing or hearing it first. All the more pleased I was when the carrier delivered the eagerly awaited instrument after only a short wait: the piano is in impeccable cosmetic and technical condition, the action and touch are extremely precise, and the sound and intonation are very balanced and pleasant! That's how a piano should be!"
