The 131 cm tall Yamaha U3 piano is distinguished by strong presence and incomparable tonal qualities. The Yamaha U3 delivers a rich sound with a balanced, even tonal character across the entire keyboard.
The special rib arrangement of the Yamaha U3 gives the soundboard extra strength, while new brace spreads and other improvements increase rigidity, resonance and overall stability. Professionally Restored!
We have our used Yamaha pianos professionally restored in the Far East. During the process the instruments are almost completely disassembled and defective parts are replaced. Felts and leather in the primary action are renewed, the tuning pins and pinblock are inspected and adjusted, the hammer felts are pared, voiced and reconditioned, and the damper pads are refurbished.
Afterwards all keys and brass parts are cleaned and polished. The finish is touched up or renewed where necessary and then buffed to a high gloss.
The instruments are then shipped to us by container so that, before delivery to you, our piano technician can make the final adjustments and tune them. This way you receive from us a characterful piano in impeccable condition that will fully convince you with its brilliance, tonal richness and appearance.
This Is What Our Customers Say About the Used Yamaha Pianos in Our Range...
"The U1 from Yamaha is a very well-known piano that, thanks to its excellent sound and attractive appearance, has played an important role in the music world for decades. The question is: does that also apply to a used U1 instrument?
Our music school FIT IN music in Hildesheim has now received its second used U1 from Musikhaus Kirstein. Both pianos were restored and tuned perfectly and arrived in such good cosmetic condition that you would never guess you were looking at an older instrument. Huge praise to the Musikhaus Kirstein team for the excellent restoration! Our teachers are very satisfied with the sound of both pianos and that satisfaction transfers to the students, young and old alike. From our side an absolute recommendation! We'll order our next Yamaha U1 here again!"
Customer Fit in Music from Hildesheim
"After my 107-year-old 2-meter grand served me faithfully for almost 20 years, I wanted a more space-saving, somewhat less sonically dominant upright instrument. My idea that a particularly high-quality digital piano could be an alternative turned out to be a mistake that was easily corrected thanks to the very customer-oriented approach of Musikhaus Kirstein! I then chose a Yamaha U3. I must admit I had reservations about ordering a used acoustic piano without seeing, playing or hearing it first. I was all the more pleased when the carrier delivered the eagerly awaited instrument after a short wait: the piano is cosmetically and technically flawless, the action and touch extremely precise, and the tone and intonation truly very balanced and pleasant! That's how a piano should be!"
