For a Long Time the Yamaha U Series Has Been the First Choice in Many Educational Institutions, Professional Musicians and Experienced Hobby Pianists!
The 131 cm-tall Yamaha U3 piano stands out for its strong presence and unmatched tonal qualities. The Yamaha U3 delivers a rich sound with a balanced and even tonal character across the entire keyboard.
The special rib arrangement of the Yamaha U3 gives the soundboard more power, while new brace spreads and other improvements increase stiffness, resonance and overall stability. For the hammers of the Yamaha U3, specifically selected materials are used for each model to ensure optimal tone, accurate sound reproduction and long-lasting durability.

Professionally Restored!
We have our used Yamaha pianos professionally restored in the Far East. The instruments are almost completely disassembled and defective parts are replaced. The felts and leathers of the basic action are renewed, the tuning pins and pinblock are checked and adjusted, the hammer felts are shaved, voiced and re-finished, and the damper felts are refurbished.
Afterwards all keys and brass parts are cleaned and polished. The lacquer is retouched or renewed if necessary and then polished to a high gloss.
The instruments make their way to us by shipping container, so that before delivery to you our piano builder can perform final regulation and tuning. This way you receive a characterful instrument in flawless condition that will convince you with its brilliance, tonal richness and appearance.
What Our Customers Say About the Used Yamaha Pianos in Our Range...
"The U1 from Yamaha is a very well-known piano that has played an important role in the music world for many decades thanks to its superb sound and attractive looks. The question is, does that also apply to a used U1 instrument?
Our music school FIT IN music in Hildesheim has now received its second used U1 from Musikhaus Kirstein. Both pianos were restored and tuned perfectly and also arrived in such good cosmetic condition that you would never guess you were looking at an older instrument. Big praise to the Musikhaus Kirstein team for the excellent refurbishment! Our teachers are very satisfied with the sound of both pianos and that satisfaction carries over to the students, young and old alike. From our side a full recommendation to buy! We'll order the next Yamaha U1 here again!"
Customer Fit in Music from Hildesheim
"After my 107-year-old two-meter grand served me faithfully for almost 20 years, I wanted a more space-saving, somewhat less sonically dominant upright instrument. My thought that a particularly high-quality digital piano might be an alternative proved to be a mistake, which I was able to correct thanks to the very customer-focused attitude of Musikhaus Kirstein! I then decided on a Yamaha U3. I admit I had reservations about ordering a used acoustic piano without seeing, playing or hearing it first. So I was all the more pleased when the carrier delivered the eagerly awaited instrument after only a short wait: the piano is visually and technically in impeccable condition, the action and touch are extremely precise, and the tone and intonation are really very balanced and pleasant! This is how a piano should be!"
