Used Yamaha U1 Piano, Polished Black
For many years the Yamaha U series has been the first choice at countless training institutions, among professional musicians and knowledgeable hobby pianists. The 121 cm tall Yamaha U1 piano stands out for its strong projection and its unparalleled tonal qualities. The Yamaha U-1 delivers a rich sound with a balanced, even tonal character across the entire keyboard.
The U-1's special rib arrangement gives the soundboard more power, while new braces and other improvements increase stiffness, resonance and overall stability. For the hammers of the Yamaha U-1, specially selected materials are used for each model to ensure optimal tone, accurate sound reproduction and durability.
Professionally Restored!
We have our used Yamaha pianos professionally restored in the Far East. The instruments are almost completely disassembled and defective parts are replaced. The felts and leathers of the action are renewed, the tuning pins and the pinblock are checked and adjusted, the hammer felts are shaved, needled and re-voiced, and the damper pads are refurbished.
Afterwards all keys and brass parts are cleaned and polished. The finish is touched up or renewed if necessary and then polished to a high gloss.
The instruments travel to us by sea container so that before delivery to you our piano builder can regulate and tune them in detail. This way you receive a characterful piano in impeccable condition that will fully convince you with its brilliance, richness of tone and appearance.
What Our Customers Say About the Used Yamaha Pianos in Our Range...
Customer Fit in Music from Hildesheim
After my 107-year-old 2-meter grand piano had served me faithfully for almost 20 years, I wanted to switch to a space-saving, somewhat less sonically dominant upright instrument. My idea that a particularly high-quality digital piano might be an alternative turned out to be a mistake that could be easily corrected thanks to the very customer-oriented approach of Musikhaus Kirstein! I then decided on a Yamaha U3. I must admit I was uneasy about ordering a used acoustic piano without having seen, played or heard it beforehand. I was all the more pleased when the carrier delivered the eagerly awaited instrument after only a short wait: the piano is in impeccable cosmetic and technical condition, the action and touch are extremely precise, and the sound and intonation are really very balanced and pleasant! That's how a piano should be!
