The amps and effects processors of the Helix Stadium family set new standards—just like the original Helix processor. Thanks to powerful DSP technology and the entirely new Agoura modeling method, they deliver exceptional tone and an excellent response to playing dynamics, a sophisticated yet intuitive user interface, and unprecedented control options.

The flagship amp and effects processor Helix Stadium XL Floor functions as a performance workstation thanks to its high-resolution 8" touchscreen, 12 high-contrast OLED scribble strips, the ability to shift between ultra-authentic and idealized amp tones with a single control, its 8-channel audio interface, versatile matrix cue mixer, proxy amp, cabinet and effect cloning, and the Showcase automation and playback engine. Showcase lets you use it as the centerpiece of an entire stage setup—including automatic recall of presets and snapshots, control of loopers and software, and using MIDI to control pedals, keyboards and synthesizers, video and even lighting. Bluetooth and Wi-Fi control are also supported.

Helix Stadium XL Floor offers extensive I/O, including various analog and digital audio inputs and outputs, MIDI (DIN and USB), multipurpose control jacks and a proprietary Nexus connector for use with the optional Expand D10 unit and future peripherals. The Expand D10 provides Variax, L6 LINK, 8-channel optical and other connections. Multiple external footswitches and expression pedals, such as the optional EX2, are also supported.

New Sounds

Agoura modeling raises the bar for authentic amp modeling—from the behavior of tubes and transformers to the dynamic interaction with speakers and cabinets—while increasing the accuracy with which amps respond to your playing, so they feel as authentic as they sound. And if you prefer your amp tones a little more refined, the new Hype control lets you move between ultra-authentic and idealized sounds with a single knob. Also, cloud-based proxy processing lets you capture the sound of your own amps, cabinets and effects.

Interactive User Interface

At the heart of the sophisticated yet intuitive user interface are a high-resolution 8" touchscreen and 12 high-contrast 1.7" OLED scribble strips. These work with 11 knobs, 13 buttons and 12 footswitches to create the most ergonomic, intuitive and inspiring user interface available. Features include Focus View with context-sensitive parameter control, preset audition audio clips and explanatory info texts for most parameters. There's also a fully integrated and assignable expression pedal with toe switch that provides highly precise control over almost every parameter.

Showcase

Showcase is a live automation engine that lets Helix Stadium XL Floor control a wide range of parameters and functions—whether you're jamming in your basement or automating every aspect of a complex stage setup—from recalling presets and snapshots and remotely controlling external gear via MIDI to playing back up to eight internal stereo audio tracks and automating lighting and video devices—all with synchronized tempo. It's like having a crew of technicians at your feet to help turn small gigs and livestreams into attention-grabbing events.

Extensive Connectivity

Helix Stadium XL Floor provides an extensive selection of analog and digital ins and outs, including two instrument inputs and a microphone input, XLR and 1/4" analog outputs, a headphone output, four send/return jacks, two multifunction dual-control jacks and S/PDIF digital I/O. There are also DIN and USB MIDI ports, a USB-A port and a proprietary Nexus connector for use with the optional Expand D10 and future peripherals. Multiple external footswitches and expression pedals, such as the optional EX2, are supported.

Future-Proof

Although Helix family products have been continuously expanded, updated and improved since their introduction, Helix wasn't originally designed for this purpose.
