The Nektar SE49 USB MIDI controller keyboard has all the features you need to make music with your computer. The SE series is compatible with any MIDI music software, features a full-size velocity-sensitive keyboard, includes all the performance controls you expect, and even offers Nektar DAW control functions. Just plug in the included USB cable and get started: Capture your ideas while they're fresh! Thanks to its fantastic Nektar DAW integration and clear, intuitive layout, the SE49 offers the perfect entry into the world of producing. The four-octave velocity-sensitive synth-action keyboard enables expressive playing and lets you adjust the velocity curve with three preset and four user presets. Performance features are rounded out by the grippy pitch bend & mod wheels plus a sustain pedal input.

No Limits for Creatives

Whether you want to play a complex solo in the style of Herbie Hancock or simply make an EDM wobble bass more lively through modulation: The large pitch bend and modulation wheels on the SE49 get you there. They have a firm grip and offer just the right resistance. For piano-like sustain effects, you can connect a switch or pedal to the footswitch jack on the back of the SE49.

Full Control Anytime

Four buttons and a MIDI-assignable fader to the left of the keys make the SE series MIDI controllers even more flexible: Shift the keyboard up or down by -3/+4 octaves, with multicolor LEDs showing the exact status. Or transpose the keys by +/- 12 semitones using the transpose buttons just below. When DAW integration is active, these buttons can easily switch MIDI channels, change MIDI programs, or select tracks and browse patches. Even better: When you press a key combination, the octave and transpose buttons switch to MMC transport functions, letting you start, stop, and record directly from your keyboard.

Take Your MIDI Controls to the Next Level

Most soft- and hardware products with MIDI assign their parameters to so-called MIDI CC commands. This lets you do cool things like control filter cutoff, panning, effect bypass, or any other parameter assigned to a MIDI CC via a hardware control on your SE49. Simply set the MIDI fader, modulation wheel, or footswitch pedal to control the desired MIDI CC message. Your assignments are saved when powered off, so you can pick up right where you left off next time.

Take control of your DAW’s key functions with Nektar’s universal DAW integration software! Of course, the SE models work with any MIDI software, but with Nektar DAW integration you can do even more: Use the transpose buttons for track or patch changes, always assign the fader to the volume of the currently selected track, and turn the octave and transpose buttons into play, stop, record, and rewind controls. Easy Setup – Also with iOS Devices

SE MIDI controller keyboards are USB class-compliant and require no driver to operate. Installation and connection are simple: Just connect the keyboard to a USB port on your computer. You can also connect an Impact SE49 or SE61 keyboard to an iOS device using the optional Apple USB camera connection kit. A 6.3 mm input jack lets you add a footswitch pedal for sustain or sending MIDI commands.
