The Arturia KeyStep 37 mk2 is a versatile MIDI controller and polyphonic sequencer for modern hybrid setups combining hardware, modular systems and your DAW. Expressive 37-Key Slimkey Keyboard

The 37 Slimkey keys are velocity-sensitive and fitted with aftertouch, so your playing responds with nuance to both velocity and pressure—ideal for expressive leads, pads or modular sound experiments. Two capacitive touch strips for pitch bend and modulation enable intuitive real-time control. With Chord Mode and Scale Mode you can build harmonically secure patterns and creative chord progressions at the push of a button.

Polyphonic Sequencer & Generative Tools

The built-in step sequencer runs polyphonically with up to 64 steps and 8-voice polyphony. Pattern chaining lets you create longer arrangements, while the 16-mode arpeggiator generates versatile rhythmic structures. Functions like Mutate, Spice and Dice produce real-time variations: change note lengths, transpose octaves, add rests or overdub additional voices. You can record automations for pitch bend and modulation directly—perfect for dynamic live performances.

4 Encoders — Maximum Control

Four dedicated endless rotary encoders with control buttons directly manage arpeggiator, sequencer and mutate parameters. Thanks to the MIDI CC button with 4 banks, you get access to 16 freely assignable MIDI CCs. The OLED display with a clickable encoder and RGB LED feedback provides clear visual information and fast navigation without deep menu diving.

Comprehensive Connectivity For Any Setup

Whether as a DAW controller for Ableton Live, Logic Pro or FL Studio, a desktop synth controller or a Eurorack hub: USB-C MIDI (class-compliant), MIDI DIN In/Out, 3.5 mm sync In/Out and a sustain/expression pedal input cover almost every scenario. Four CV/Gate outputs—Pitch, Gate, Mod 1 and Mod 2—are flexibly configurable for velocity, aftertouch or mod wheel. That lets you control analog synths and modular systems with precise voltage control.
